My Husband,the love of my life

I met my husband when i was 20. We met online. I was looking through Love@aol.com one night for friends who lived around me. I was single but not wanting a relationship. Cause i had just recently gotten pretty burnt by two ex-boyfriends. And i was sick of them. Well i found Jeremy's ad,and it had a pic of him and i thought he was cute and he seemed interesting and he lived 30 minutes at most from me. I added his name to my AIM list but it was 4am so i didn't expect him to be on. To my surprise his name popped up and i discovered he was online. I IMed him and we started talking. I informed him immediatly i was only looking for friends. We had a few "spats" online and i at first thought there was no way we could even be friends.

But we talked more and more and even after our spats and "agreement" to no longer chat,we'd always get back together chatting. One night he wanted to call me. I kept saying no. Finally he said he had to go to work and i said "If you call in..i'll let you call me" Cause we were havin a fun chat and i didn't want him to leave lol. So he agreed and called in. But then we got into another "spat" where i finally said "Forget you can't call me now goodbye!" Well he then signed off and i felt bad. So i called him real fast telling him my # and asking him to call me since it was LD for us.

So he did and we chatted awhile and from that night on we talked about every night online and on the phone. He called me one night when i had a friend Christy over and asked to meet me. I thought that'd be perfect since Christy was here if we didn't get along we wouldn't have to worry about it bein a one on one thing ..Christy could take off the tension. Plus,since i WASN'T wanting a boyfriend,and Christy was single and DID want one i thought maybe they could hook up. So we met,Jeremy took us to McDonalds cause we hadn't ate all day and were hungry. And i sat up front and Jeremy was the sweetest gentlemen. He gently put his hand on my knee,moved it no higher. It was just sweet. We came home,Christy went inside,Me and Jeremy stayed outside,kissed a little and i had butterflies in my tummy. He held me while we were looking at the stars and said "I know you've been hurt before,but if you give me a chance,I won't hurt you" I melted,fell for it. And we started dating. I moved in with him cause he had his own place,after dating for about 3 weeks (yea we moved a bit fast,but it felt right).

We have our ups and downs. But every relationship does. On Christmas of '02 he gave me lots of gifts and we did the family thing. But he had one HUGE box i couldn't open till we were alone. I opened it and it was full of paper. I dug through the paper and at the bottom there was a ring box,and a Marilyn Manson c.d.(AntiChrist Superstar) lol. I picked up the ring box first of course,and he proposed to me. April 11th,2003 we got married.
